Hey guys, welcome and welcome back again to my channel. I am bill grasses and in this channel we create video surrounding hair, sewing and lifestyle videos. So if you want all of these other things you're interested in then this is a channel for you. So in today's video i'm going to be showing you guys how to create like a box, um braided pattern, wig, i'm not so sure about the title but yeah. Basically, what you would need for this is your wii cap um, your lace, your manikin head, um, your crochet needle your needle and thread, then the attachment itself. Obviously so, basically what i did was i had to change the mannequin head, because the previous one i had wasn't um. It was hard, so i could not um pierce anything on it, so i had to change it to this one. So, basically, what i'm doing is i'm putting the lace on the part. I would want it to be at that. I'M cutting the remaining excess leaves that i do not need anymore. Okay, guys, after doing that, you just need to sew that onto the wii cap and after you're done sewing it onto the recap. You want to cut off um the lace or the wig, the excess wig underneath the lace, because you do not need that anymore. So guys, after doing that, this is what it should look like. So i already started off by creating the box braid or the box pattern and the braids, because i wanted to have an idea of what i was doing, since this is the first time trying it out. So after i was i kind of had it. I got the hang of it. I decided to now come on camera to show you what i did so. Basically, all you just do is create boxes and for this i'm going in with the break pattern. So basically, what that means is that the first line is going to be like that. Then the second line is going to it's going to basically give you like the brick pattern. You know the way it breaks you know are placed so yeah, that's basically what it is going to look like when you do the brick pattern so guys for this. You could literally use anything um, but i had my brow pencil at hand, so i decided to use that instead and it should. But i or basically what you want to use is something that will show on your list and i wouldn't clean up so easily. So you don't end up losing the pattern you already created because guys creating this pattern took me about 10 to 15 minutes so yeah i mean it doesn't sound like a long time, but i mean just for creating patterns actually is in my own opinion, but yeah Um, so you definitely want to use something that would stay in place, because you would you wouldn't want to spend that much time, creating the pattern only for it to clean up. So this is what it should look like after you're done, creating it nothing to perfect, but it's going to get the job done um. So i'm just going to show you and that's pattern odd and that's pattern or the box pattern there. So what you want to do is you want to use your crochet needle to um crochet, the hair so guys i didn't count the number of strands i used, but if i'm supposed to guess i'm going to guess about um four to six strands, each on each Hole, and so the thing is that the first couple of box braids um box patterned, i ended up - you know crocheting um a hole at a time, but after a while, i just felt like that's that's just that's weird way to time consuming. So i just figured that i would start crocheting, um um, two holes or three holes at a time and obviously, when you're going to do something like that, the the amount of strands you take will be more as opposed to d. So because i was crocheting one hole at a time the strands i took weren't as bogus as the other ones that i crocheted like two to three holes at a time because you want that properly covered up. So after i'm done crocheting the first line, i'm going to turn the mannequin like so and just crochet continue crochet until i am done crocheting around the entire box and yeah so guys, if you've gotten to this point of the video already. Thank you guys so much. I really do appreciate it we're on our way to 2k subscribers. I don't know when this video is going to go up. Maybe it will be up before um i hit the 2k or after i hit the 2k. I don't know but yeah. Thank you guys so so much for watching my videos taking the time to actually click on the like button. So if you haven't clicked on the like button, yet what are you waiting for? Do that right now, don't forget to leave me a comment as well and yeah. You can also check out my other videos if you see anything you like, because i do videos around in three niches on my channel. So this is one of them sewing and lifestyle videos so yeah. This is basically what it is looking like after i'm done, crocheting around that entire box, as you can see, there's a space in there and this part is only necessary when you're crocheting, like small strands like this, so you know, i said that i because after a While i started crocheting really big strands onto like two to three holes right so after i did that i really didn't need to fill in anything any space inside it. I'M just putting that out there, but i didn't show that because i felt like it would be um repetitive, so i just explaining the entire process. So it's basically the same thing like this, but the only two differences are um. The strands i crocheted were bigger because i was crocheting on two holes or three holes at a time and because of that, it covered so well that um there was no need for me to fill in anything inside, like so, okay, guys after you're done filling it. Like so, if you end up using like tiny strands like this one, this is what it should look like. As you can see, it's basically covered up, and no one would literally know that this. This isn't like a normal lace wig. So i'm just going to braid that and just keep that aside and do the rest of the lace closure. Okay, guys so after i'm done doing that this is what it should look like, but don't worry we aren't done yet. So this is me after breathing. The entire closure - and this is what it is looking like as you can see it's kind of full and because we did the brick method, it is going to make life easier so that it's not so obvious. It'S so weak. So after doing that, i figured out put it in a hot water because i felt like it was looking too bogus for me, and the color of the water looks like that, because i added um conditioner in it. So after doing that and letting it air dry, this is what it is looking like, like so um. So it's still looking a bit messy, but i'm going to show you what i did in a bit but before that i just skipped this part because it wasn't necessary and what i did was. I used a blow dryer to just treating needs and after doing that, i braided the entire um lace closure again because it needed to be neat right. So what i'm doing right now is i'm going in with the thread and i'm going to use that to tie it first, because we do not want it loosening up on us um when we crochet and after tiny day, i'm just going to braid the hair, and I'M braiding the thread with the hair as well. Then, when i get this lens, i am okay with. I just um use the thread to tie the end and voila basically good to go with this and guys. You could literally use this for any hairstyle. You want you could use it for your faux locs. You could use it for your crochet braids use for your um question. Yeah. It'S full locks right, so the one where you get to put the hair inside um the space there. So, yes, guys i'm going to be showing you what i do with this in the next hair video. So do watch out for that and thank you for watching and i will see you guys in the next video it all bye. Now it's messing with my head. Yeah, we don't say goodbye:
