BEAUTY PRODUCTS I ALWAYS USE:

Beautisol is my fave self tanner..no bad smell, an even creamy tan that lasts. I use on my face too..after exfoliating. It was originally sold on QVC.. THE best stuff. I use from May-September. https://amzn.to/2IK0rwh

Beautisol Need I Glow More Sunless Face Tanner https://amzn.to/2uES64W

I use these exfoliating gloves before applying self tanner.. and at least once a week all year round. I throw them in the washer and reuse! I prefer this to heavy gritty scrubs that are harder on the skin and are very expensive.

https://amzn.to/2U2ekZ9

Famous Dave’s Self Tanning Mitt for streak free smooth application of self tanning lotions and mousse. Reusable/washable https://amzn.to/2UqYET6

Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs Medium, not a self tanner..color only. Perfect for adding a touch of color to legs and arms and even out a tan, covers veins and blemishes. I recommend using with the Famous Dave’s Mitt https://amzn.to/2OCCl7I

Australian Gold Botanical Mineral Sunscreen for face..non greasy, mildly tinted, absorbs completely https://amzn.to/2UqYET6

Colorscience powder mineral sunscreen brush applicator 50 SPF..perfect to carry in your bag! https://amzn.to/2WEwmSO

Emoji Tweeze..I use this daily on upper lip and facial areas where my “grandma whiskers” appear.. it removes hair from the root through a pulling motion. Not painful, but takes some getting used to. This is one “As Seen On TV” product that I’ve used for over 10 years. NOT for eyebrows, but can be used between eye brows. Easier than manually tweezing..easy!

https://amzn.to/2DnMhy6

I cannot live without this toothbrush! I love my Oral B 8000. It cleans like you’ve just come back from the dentist, yet it’s super gentle..and it whitens!

Hey everybody: this is Tad's, welcome, back to tosses weight closet as you'll notice, I'm back in my regular wig closet for filming, and I'm really excited for my first video to be on this beauty right here. This is the new Raquel Welch editors pick elite shown in the color honey toast, which is RL 1216. I did not think I was going to have the opportunity to review this style, but I'm so happy that hair you wear, has contacted me and sent this wig for review, be sure to hang in there for the full review. There'S a lot of nuggets and tidbits that you won't want to miss, including a full comparison of this editors, pick elite to the regular editors pick and some color comparisons as well. Editor'S pick is a mid-length quintessential wavy cut bob came out about four years ago and has really set the bar for this kind of style. So it's really no surprise to me that they have upgraded the cap design on this style with the elite option. Editor'S pick has been one of my favorite wavy bob cuts since it came out, and I think that it's really easy to wear. So we've got a four and a half inch bang area that comes right off. Of that lace front. It kind of gives a bit of a contour there. Now in the back, you'll find a 10-inch crown a six-inch nape. I did measure from the crown to the tip of the hair. It'S about 13 inches all the way around. There'S an 8 inch layer here on the sides. It weighs about 3.75 ounces. This editors pick elite features a temple to tumble lace, front a full single monofilament top and a completely hand tied base. Let'S take a look at that lace front. It'S absolutely gorgeous impeccable invisible hairline there there's plenty of fibers spliced in down through the ear tab, to give you a beautiful, beautiful, hairline and a natural look. There'S a single monofilament top a nice generous monofilament top there. So wherever you part it, you should be able to see through to the illusion of scalp, just like the legacy editors pick design. This is made from the Raquel Welch true to life, fibers that are heat friendly up to 350 degrees. We fell in love with this beautiful tassel curly waviness of the editor's pick, and it is the same on the elite. I did notice that the curls are held together a little bit more, a little more defined, especially around the face on the editor's pick elite versus the regular editor's pick, but for the most part, it's just a softly tousled deconstructed kernel, I'm going to give you a Full look at this cap with all of the detail, but I do want to state that there is no what we consider traditional perma T's on this cap. But what you will find is some scalloping at the very root of certain fibers in the back and on the sides where they've integrated some west into this hand-tied base. So that gives it some strengthen in the base, and it also gives you some nice volume, especially at the bottom, now, there's a nut density here or just an average density. This feels very much like the density of the traditional editor's pick, and so I feel like you can probably still get quite a bit of volume. So what this ham type cap is really doing, for you is it's probably going to allow for a little more natural movement to these fibers? A lot of you enjoy the hand-tied cap they're, some of the most comfortable caps that you can wear this one fits me like a glove. The legacy editors pick has a lot of permit ease around that monofilament part in the back and the size. So you can really pump up the volume on that style and I feel like you, can get that same kind of volume on this style as well. However, if you wanted a more subdued look, it might be a little easier to tame the volume on this elite cap. This would be a great time to bring out my traditional editor's pick in the color shaded cappuccinos, so that we can compare colors and specs. So here is the editors pick in the color shaded cappuccino, which is RL 1222 ss: let's break down and compare these colors so on this RL 1216 honey toast you're going to find a light, a golden brown base color and then within that then you're going to See some light gold blonde and light caramel brown highlighting and overall, I think this honey toast is a neutral to warm shade. Now, let's compare that to the shaded cappuccino, so the shade of cappuccino starts with that light brown shade, and then it also has in there a light ash blonde, as opposed to the light gold blonde of the honey toast, there's also some light. Caramel brown in this 1222, it's everything is on a medium brown root as well. So the shaded cappuccino is a rooted color. The honey toast is not. I look at the shaded. Cappuccino is being more neutral to cool and the honey toast being more neutral to warm. Your shaded cappuccino is going to be lighter and brighter than the honey toast. So let's examine the similarities and differences. You'Ll find the four and a half inch bang exactly the same on both the editors pick and the editors pick elite. They both have the same contour and they lay exactly the same on both Styles. Some of this layering is a bit shorter on the original editor's pick and that kind of contributes to some of the volume you can get as well. I don't feel like the curl is as defined as it is here on the editor's pick elite, but both of them are have that beautiful, tassel wave, that's almost indistinguishable. You may see some differences from style to style in terms of weight. The original editor's pick is three and a quarter and the editors pick elite is 3.75. The editors pick has a temple to Temple, lace, front and full single monofilament top and then open wefted sides and back, whereas the elite version has the lace front single, monofilament top and then a hand tied base examining permit ease. The original editor's pick has a lot of permit teeth all the way around that monofilament and then you'll find it at the temple, the back and very, very heavy at the nape. Now on the elite. I don't want to say, there's no permit ease, but there's no permit ease in the traditional sense and when I show you an inside look at the cap, you'll see some integrated resting at the bottom sides and back and there's a bit of a scalloped fibre at The very root of those refs that give it a little bit of volume and support at the bottom. So I think that the volume that you're getting is the same on both styles, sometimes on hand completely hand tied caps without any integrated, Westing or anything. You can really lose a lot of the volume because you don't have the permit ease to kind of crop it up, but this was done extremely this. This cap was done extremely well. It was very well thought out and can certainly get a lot of volume on either style. One other difference that I am noticing is that the elite cap seems to be more comfortable than that of the original, and I feel like they're, both very well made and very comfortable, but you would expect a little bit more from a hand-tied design. The other factor would be that on a hand-tied design, those fibers can move and pivot a little more on their own, an individual from one another, giving it a more natural feel and movement in terms of pricing. The editors pick elite is a bit pricier than the regular editor's pick just because it is a hand-tied base and you get some of those additional features. Just in summary, the one thing I was really surprised about was: I really expected the editors pick elite to lay differently on my head than that of the original editor's pick just because of the hand, type features, but they've constructed it in a way that gives me Superior comfort and design, while still maintaining a lot of volume and movement. Here'S an inside look at the cap for the editor's pick elite. The first thing: you'll notice is that beautifully contoured lace front. It does extend back into the ear tab and gives some really nice coverage there, a lot of fibers spliced in there the ear tab is closed and felted and features along sturdy stays. There'S a seam connecting the lace front with the single monofilament top a nice realistic touch, there's an extended felt at nape with Velcro adjusters, and everything is encased in a hand-tied bass material. It'S kind of a breathable mesh material you'll see a combination of cluster nuts & Westing at the bottom sides, and back now that wedding is integrated right into that hand, tie cap and gives it some sturdiness, and it also contributes to some additional volume there at the Bottom, without using permit ease this cap is averaged right out of the box. I did cinch it in to adjust for my petite average circumference so because indoor lighting can be tricky, I'm going to take you outside for a side-by-side comparison on these styles and colors. I hope you enjoyed the review, we'll see you next time on Tazz's, wait, closet,

Marlene Fab & Glam Over 50: Hi Taz! Great review and comparison! The Elite is absolutely beautiful! I now have five wigs, but only one has a hand-tied cap and mono front: Cameron by Jon Renau. I absolutely love it. It has to be my favorite primarily because of the hand-tied cap. I really should venture out to Elite. It's gorgeous! Thanks so much for the review and happy that you're back home! xoxo Mar

Denise Sheets: Oh my gosh!! I want to purchase this one so bad!! I had the opportunity to try a regular Editor's Pick thanks to a collaboration with Christi from Wiggin with Christi... and now I definitely want one of these. I guess I will have to save my pennies.... this is totally my signature style!! Thank you for showing her!

Miss Pethamhouse: Thanks Taz! Excellent review and colour comparison! Your cap explanation was very helpful. Glad you’re home; I watched your other video and so pleased your son is doing better!! Thanks again!!

Sandra G. McAlister: Love this review, Taz... absolutely adore this wig, the original one and this new one, glad you showed the new one in a darker color, really beautiful! Have a great weekend!!

Jane Boulton: These reviews are so helpful. I have the shaded cappuccino on order and your reviews have helped me in choosing both the style and the colour. You are doing an amazing job

Cara Ciurej: HI Taz! Thank You so Much for your reviews! They are so helpful when choosing a new wig! I just got my Editor's pick Elite yesterday and I LOVE it!!!

ChooseHappy Mc: Love this wig and the Honey Toasted. Love that you show the wigs in natural light, outside; makes a big difference. I just started wearing Toppers and wanting to move into wigs. I’m naturally a dark brunette, but due to almost all gray now, I am wanting to move into a warm light color…. I’m thinking Honey Toasted might be it. Thanks for all your great reviews… wished some were more in the medium browns. You are an inspiration!

sdraper2011: Glad to see you back home! Great review, especially the details about the cap construction. This wig is definitely on my to-buy list!

fairygrl 117: Thanks so much for your reviews! I find them informative and fun. I have lost most of my hair and what I have is so very thin. I can't bring myself to shave my head... yet and wigs are now a necessity. I wasted quite a bit of money purchasing a few wigs before finding your reviews and was frustrated and depressed thinking that all would be this way. I live in the middle of nowhere with no wig shops to try anything on. Thankfully I now have a couple of go-to wigs and this will be my next purchase! I love my Envy Zoey, Soft and Subtle is one I will wear for quick trips out and I have a couple of Jon Renau wigs. I just have a hard time with the financials since I am sick (Sarcoidosis and 2 brain tumors) w/3 kids and only my hubby's paycheck lol Thanks so much for all your help!!!

5th Seal Saint: Thank you for doing a side by side comparison of the Elite and the original version of Editor's Pick. I love the Elite and am so glad they make it in the RL511 shade as it is pretty close to my bio hair color as they didn't offer it in the original. I hope all is well with you and your family. Take care and God bless.

Raechelle Bennett: Absolutely gorgeous Taz! Welcome home! I'm sure Colten will miss you, but happy to hear he's improving so fast, considering all he went through. I think we need to also give credit to your lovely associate models who portray your collection so beautifully. Those are some of the more naturally glamorous mannequin heads I've seen yet. Are they still available for purchase somewhere? Another great review. Thank you Taz.

TIme Enough: Looking beautiful as always Taz! I like that shaded cap color...haven’t seen that one before. This is a lovely wig in both styles. I honestly don’t wear mine a ton so I won’t be getting the elite. Still a classic and looks great on so many.

Vina Landsford: The Elite, to me, seems to have so much big and thick hair and curls. I feel overwhelmed by mine. It’s a fine wig, but I’m going to have to get a stylist to help me make it work and it’ll take some getting used to. Anyone else feel like this wig almost has a life of its own?

Dan C: Love handtied! This was definitely a nice upgrade.

Suz: Hey pretty lady, another fab review, I love both these wigs, the colours are amazing and you suit them both :) Nice to see you back on home ground, always love seeing outside, your home looks beautiful! Hugs my friend, xoxo

Terrie Severson: Great comparison on both styles. Can’t wait to try a hand tied wig, so in the interim I’ll just dream about one. HA! Good to see you home and in your comfort zone.

Linda Anderson: Great review as always TAZ. Loved the outdoor looks.

Rita: Wow! Both wigs are great, but the new one looks more natural, although I personally prefer a rooted one xoxo

Kat Sierra: So good to see you home and know your son is doing better prayers to you both

Annette Burchett-Taylor: Loved the review! As always, informative and fun! Where did you purchase your animal print top? Too cute! :-)

Lynn Brady: Beautiful! The Shaded Cap ,on screen, has. Salt and pepper grayish look that my hair is. I have found Shaded Licorice is pretty much identical to my hair but not a lot of wigs are offered in that color so do you think the Shaded Cappuccino could be close?

SugarPuffAndFluff: Hi Taz, I just got this wig too, my review is coming tomorrow, we are twins lol xoxo

Michele KT: Honestly, I personally love the original with its curl pattern, length and perma tease. The Elite, not so much. Why fool with perfection? LOL!

Jackie Marsh: Love This Review Taz!! I Love Both Sooo Pretty!! You Look Just Gorgeous in Them!! Thank You Sooo Much For a Perfect Review as Always!! Love XOXOX!!

Monika's Beauty & Lifestyle: I love this! EP is my favorite wig and the new Elite sounds perfect. Awesome to see you back in your closet! Hugs

Bobbie S: I can’t wait to be able to afford this one. I usually get the honey toast on the regular one.

Frances Lock: A beautiful wig. So glad you’re son is healing well and in good hands.

marika diamond: So happy your son is much better, such good news. Wonderful to see you back in your closet.. Your reviews are so informative .... You are the best!!!

Cynthia's Tarot: I love the top with the wig and it's beautiful ! You are beautiful ! I love everything about this look and I'm happy that you are back in your closet ! Love you so very much !

Wigescape: Love the shaded cappuccino color!

Lisa Bulmer: I love them both! You looked so pretty!

Brenda Gregory Yuen: Good to see you back "home"! I hope they use this same new cap design on some lighter density short styles!

Barbra Mighall: I really like how you show us the differences between the colors of the wigs.

Texas Outlook: She's back!! I really like the side by side views, thanks! Blessings ~Sidney

MichelleM: This EP elite is more elegant looking...I like them both..however the original EP..is still my favorite.

Jean Jacobs: Great review! They are both beautiful. Welcome home! Blessings!

Christi C: I used Hair U Wear products in my RW wig and it ruined it the 1st week I wore it. Very frustrating since wig shop wouldn’t take it back.

Red headed Sojourner: Love how cute this looks on you. Might be too much hair for me.

Nani Womack: Super cute. I wish you could post your reviews side by side your newest to the oldest. I can’t remember all of them. Lol it’s a just a dream! ❤️❤️

Itsmyhairiboughtit !!: Yay the wig closet I know and love!

kk doc: Ok I’m back here now trying to decide between the 2 lol. I’m not a fan of too much volume, as you know, And I think there is a little more option in the elite. Just makes the decision a longer wait, but I always say, the longer the wait, the more exciting the reward!

Liz Lyons: I love both versions on you. I think I actually prefer the style of traditional Editor's Pick, because of the lighter weight and the deconstructed curls -- but maybe it is just that particular unit. What I absolutely love is Shaded Capuccino! Since Raquel Welch has no dimensional brunettes at all, I think I might try my next RW wig in Shaded Capuccino. Both colors look perfect on you (so what else is new? LOL).

Kathryn Caudwell: How lovely that you’re back- that means that your boy is getting better- enjoy your lovely home. It’s great you’re back.

Wear Wigs with Me: Bravo! Love it!

Teddy Burr: I think the shaded cappuccino suits you the best Taz. Teddy U.K. xx

GeorgiaPeach 1970: Hi Taz, I received my editor's pick(not elite) yesterday in Honey Toast. Tag says DO NOT COMB OR BRUSH ! It looks a bit oily/stringy looking. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Lonnie C: Love my Editors Pick in Shaded Biscuit

TeaTime: I don't even wear wigs, yet. Maybe someday I will give them a try. Until then, I enjoy watching your reviews. Oh, and may I just say your backyard makes mine look like a postage stamp. ;-)

travelernow: Great review! Glad you are able to be back home. Have you given up your 9-5 job? If so, congratulations! ☺️

Amy Rutherford-Close: Love your wig closet- Glad your home. I am a warmer tone girl, but love you in the cool tones,

Carol Blair: I just bought this wig but the Elite the curls are not as nice. It’s a little more hair than I’m use to.

Susan Petersen: I've been looking at a lot of youtubes of wig reviews. I was just wondering why MOST reviews are always in blondes and light brown colors. I love reds, but I'm not finding any reviews with red or darker colors. Is there a reason?

Jaci Fertik: I love shaded cappuccino color

Debby Graf: Can you tell me what color in Rachel Welch is the closest to the Estetica Caramel Kiss rooted and the Henri Margu 8/14H. I got the RL8/229SS and it is too red for me.

Gayle Fahnestock: lovely wig an you ....look great as always!!

Eva Volkin: So if I were to straighten out the curls on the editors pick elite, when the curls come back once I wash/shampoo it?

Krys Stelina: Hi, I love this wig for my mom, but your discount code does not work :(

Florence Carroll: Hi Taz, I have not worn 100%handtide does it feel tight and enclosed and warm ? Thanks you look good on all style you wear very entizing.

Barbra Mighall: Do you like the Elite better than the regular Editors Pick?

Rita Ahearn: Where did you get the animal print top you are wearing?

Natasha Semenova: Do you keep every wig you review

Wyzer Now: Lovely

Peggy Johnson: Can I wear this style if my head is 22 1/2 “ circumference?

Tess Anne: FYI: I have been seeing short add videos selling toppers and they are using some of your clips.

Jaye: Welcome back home Taz!!

MichelePearl: This looks MUCH better.

MichelePearl: Nice blouse.

Kelly Peters: Don't think I'm a fan of the Elite version...doesn't seem to lay the same, or have the same volume...thx so much
